Age 61, lost her courageous fight with cancer on Thursday September 2, 2010 under the care of her loving sons, family members and St. Joseph Mercy Hospice. Joyce was preceded in death by her parents Leroy J. Young and Ivory Young, her sister Frances L. Cyphers, her brothers Charles M. Young, Kenneth Young and Jack Young. Survivors include; her loving sons; Ralph L. Harrelson and Gregory K. Jackson; one granddaughter; Kennedy L. Harrelson; her sisters; Lois J. Hood and Jo Ann Martin; her brothers; Richard Young and Larry K. young; best friend and niece Brenda Hutchins and many loving family members and friends. Joyce was born on January 7, 1949 in Paintsville, Kentucky. In 1961, she moved to Ypsilanti, Michigan where she attended Belleville High School. Joyce worked as an electrician at General Motors for 32 years before retiring. She was a member of the Northville Moose and Milan Ruth Eastern Star. Joyce loved to shop, take road trips with her family, design and decorate homes. Joyce lived a rich life, full of family, friends and the great joy of helping others with love and generosity. She was proud of her southern heritage and will be buried in the Hackney Family Cemetery in Lowmanville, KY.

Age 87, passed away Saturday, August 28, 2010 in Crossville, TN. She was born February 1, 1923 in Manila AR to David and Rebecca (Peebles) Harris. On July 2, 1949 she married Tauno Nyrkkanen, and he survives. Gladys loved taking care of her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of the Ypsilanti Township Senior citizens and was in the Kitchen Band.

She was born September 18, 1960 in Howell, MI, daughter of James E. and Doris Jean (Collins) Daves. On December 20, 1980 she married Donald Roe in Ypsilanti, MI and he survives. Leisa was a Registered Nurse at Mercy Hospital in Scranton, PA and was a member of the Heritage Baptist Church in Clarks Summit. She has lived in Michigan, Texas, Iowa and Pennsylvania.
